Actor Mark Ruffalo recently unveiled some fascinating news for avid fans of the Avengers. Apparently, the personalities of his characters, Bruce Banner and the Hulk, will merge in the forthcoming "Thor: Ragnarok" movie. As a result, there is likelihood that fans will be treated to an enraged Banner or a calmer and more intelligent Hulk.
In an interview with Ain't It Cool, Ruffalo unveiled that Banner lives in obscurity in the upcoming film after he left the team following the incidences that occurred in the movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron." The actor pointed out that Banner has delinked himself from humanity, which might be the rationale behind his two personalities now beginning to merge.
Ruffalo said, "It's very subtle, but the Banner/Hulk consciousness is beginning to meld a little bit. Who decided to leave? Was it Banner or Hulk? It's not really in the (cinematic) mythology of Hulk up until that moment to be that conscious and pro-active. It's interesting, right?"
According to Cinema Blend, this type of incident has already occurred in the comics before. Ruffalo's famous versions include The Maestro, a tyrant from the far future of an alternate world from the comic arc "The Incredible Hulk: Future Imperfect" and Doc Green, a clever version of the green giant without the damage instincts from the comic series "Indestructible Hulk."
Fans might see some of these examples in the third "Thor" film, although it should not be perceived as a confirmation. Avid fans of the movie should consider this as mere speculation.
The most significant move is to wait for the premiere of "Thor: Ragnarok," which is slated to hit the theater on Nov. 3, 2017. Watch the footage below for more information.
