Fashion designer Desiree Hartsock finally decided to walk down the aisle and marry the mortgage banker Chris Siegfried. The two appeared on Season 9 of ABC's "Bachelorette."

Hartsock and Siegfried, who currently live in Seattle, got married in an intimate and hush-hush wedding ceremony in Palos Verdes, CA.

Siegfried proposed to Hartsock during the season finale of "The Bachelorette" in 2013. The latter selected the former baseball player over Drew Kenney, the first runner-up. Hartsock and Siegfried celebrated their first engagement anniversary in February last year and the bridal shower for Hartsock was organized in August.

Brushing aside the speculations about her self-designed wedding dress, Hartsock, a wedding dress designer herself, is reported to have opted for a lace gown designed by Maggie Sottero instead, according to RealityTV. Her dress depicted a long veil at the back and lace overlay and sheer mesh detail at the neckline in the front. According to the sources, she had her hair partitioned and waved down the sides with one part clipped back.

The executive producer of the "Bachelorette" Mike Fleiss gave the couple his best wishes upon exchanging vows. On their big day, Fleiss congratulated them over twitter and cheered that they form a great couple.

According to the NewsDay, ABC told the couple that they could get married on television if they decide to do so after fall last year despite the fact that Hartsock wished to get married in Summer 2013. It is believed that ABC wanted to delay the event with a vision of potential increase in the ratings; however, they finally decided not to go with it.

While ABC has made a decision on the charges for other couples from the series to get married on the television, Hartsock and Siegfried's wedding wasn't speculated to bring much rating to the series. As reported by Touch Weekly in November 2014, the ratings for the big day for Sean and Catherine, another Bachelorette couple, weren't that great.
