Kai Hibbard, an ex-contestant on NBC's "Biggest Loser," has a long list of complaints about the series and how its trainers love pushing the competitors to the point of collapse. According to her, the show is more about abusing its overweight competitors, and she feels that it was a mistake to have participated in.

There have been numerous reports on the brutal secrets revealed by Hibbard in a explosive and shocking expose, according to TheWrap.

Hibbard was one of the 14 finalists in "Biggest Loser" Season 3 and lost more than 120 pounds during her time on the show. She complained how the participants were put on punishing regimen of strict diets and forced to work out for extreme lengths of time, till they were on the verge of collapsing. Celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels is among the trainers that have been reported to quit the show three times because of the poor treatment of the contestants.

According to Hibbard, she was put on a diet and exercise that was certainly detrimental to her health, as confirmed by AceShowbiz. She said she is now ashamed that she had participated in the show. She and the other contestants were forced to work hard, eat unhealthy diets, and had to work out for around six hours daily. One of the contestants had even collapsed due to the excessive exercise and was not able to take anymore.

Based on Hibbard's claims, the contestants were put on a less than 1,000 calories a day, and the diet was based on a list approved by the trainer. During Hibbard's season, there were Kraft fat-free cheese, lot of Franken-foods, Rockstar Energy Drinks, It's Not Butter spray and Jell-O among others. The trainers even ignored medical advice sometimes.

However, NBC states that all its contestants are medically supervised and closely monitored.
