NBA Rookie Ladder: Who Will Be The First All-Star, Karl Anthony Towns Or Kristaps Porzingis?

The NBA Rookies of 2015 have concentrated on the big men. Three of the top four players drafted stand over 6-10.

Those three players have also delivered and have carved out their names. Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor and Kristaps Porzingis have become solid players for their respective teams. Which of them could become an All-Star the soonest?

Okafor recently suffered off-court issues but he still continues to play well. However, being on the Sixers could hurt his stock. Thus, the two players with the best chances to be an All-Star would be Porzingis and Towns.

Karl Anthony Towns is already a star, as Hoops Habit declared. "Towns isn't an ordinary rookie. He moves like a veteran on the floor and just knows what to do in certain situations. He has the confidence to take and make big shots late in games and looks like Minnesota's best option on the floor offensively."

While Porzingis is not as consistent as Towns, he has the advantage of playing with the New York Knicks. The popularity of the team and the fact that he plays in the East can vault him a spot on the All-Stars even this year.

Bleacher Report noted "Zinger's" inconsistency. "Since exploding for 28 points opposite Dirk Nowitzki in the Knicks' loss to the Dallas Mavericks, Porzingis has stumbled to 5.7 points on 24 percent shooting with 4.3 rebounds."

However, Porzingis delivers the highlights and his story of winning over the fans of New York who booed him in the draft has been noticed by the national audience.

They both could very well make it by next year, but Porzingis may have a slight edge.
