The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will get the Android Marshmallow update before the end of this year, Pocket-Lint reported. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge will receive the latest update in February 2016.
Other Samsung handsets that will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update are Samsung Galaxy E5, Samsung Galaxy E7, Samsung Galaxy A3, Samsung Galaxy A5, Samsung Galaxy A7, Samsung Galaxy A8, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
As of this writing, user of Galaxy S5 has received an over-the-air notification for the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update. However, according to an Android Headlines report, this is not the final firmware for the device, it may not even be an official firmware.
The report added that the electronics company is going to roll out Android M for the Note 5 before moving to earlier generation devices.
