The massively multiplayer online role-playing video game "The Elder Scrolls Online" will be finally released on next-gen consoles. Game publisher Bethesda Softworks reported that the game will be available on June 9.
The game will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will feature the games newest installment "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited." The new game still has the familiar gameplay mechanics it has on its PC version.
Besthesda added that returning players of the game will not be charged with a monthly subscription fee. Additionally, players who own the PC version of the game have the option to transfer it to either a PS4 or Xbox One for $20.
After purchasing the game Bethesda offers its players a monthly subscription scheme for those who want ESO Plus premium membership. Premium members will receive various in-game perks along with hefty crowns which can be spent on the Crown Store.
The ESO Plus membership offers boost in experience and gold acquisition, faster crafting research, increased crafting inspiration gain and 1500 crown allocation per month.
Game Director Matt Firor said in a statement, "We have made numerous changes to the game over the past year, and are confident this is a game that Elder Scrolls fans will love to play."
The PC version of "Elder Scrolls Online" will also drop its monthly subscription fee, according to Kotaku. The report also said that premium members will receive the game's new installment for free. Additionally, former players who previously pay the monthly subscription fee will receive 500 crowns and 100 crowns for every month subscribed.
For PC players who has not purchased the game before "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" will be available for a $60 one-time payment.
While the console version of the game will be available on June the PC version will be released on Mar. 17, according to Wired.
