Tres and Vanessa may have been the fan favorite couple in "Married At First Sight" season 3 but it seems like the social experiment is not going smoothly for the couple.
In the latest episode of "Married At First Sight" season 3 titled "Celebrations," viewers saw Tres and Vanessa fighting after the former invited his female friend to come over at the cookout. Vanessa pointed out that men and women can never be just straight up friends.
This let to an awful awkward encounter with Vanessa and and Jenna. Watch Tres talk about Vanessa's jealousy issues below:
To make matters worse, Vanessa felt humiliated when Tres dodged the issue of falling in love with his wife. When his friends asked if they were in love, Tres said that love is a "big word," which definitely infuriated Vanessa. While she admitted that they are not in that stage of their relationship just yet, she could not wait but hope that they will eventually get there.
The day after the cookout, Vanessa says she is still frustrated with her husband. She also found out about her dog being sick. When she told Tres about taking him to the vet, he acted like it was not a big deal and went to the gym.
Later, she told Tres that she did not appreciate how he acted in front of his friends. Tres explained that he was just joking around and did not mean anything he said. Although he felt that his wife is trying to change him into something that he is not, he promised Vanessa that will try to become a better husband.
Even after hearing his explanation, Vanessa still felt upset. She then decided to pack her bags and spend the night at her old place. She said that she needed time to think about their relationship.
When she comes the next morning, Tres shared that she was disappointed with the way she acted.
"My mom left me twice. I've been left in the past and I always assumed when I got married, my wife is the one person who won't leave," he said.
Vanessa then realized that she was in the wrong and vowed to change her attitude. Instead of walking out on him again, Tres told her that it was better for them to shout at each other, talk about their differences and work on them as a couple.
