Speculation suggests that Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be released before June 2016, and is said to come without its much-anticipated touchscreen feature.
Earlier, there were strong rumors that the upcoming laptop would be equipped with the touchscreen technology, according to Forbes. However, later, Apple quashed the rumors, as the company felt that their powerful touchpad provides all the touch capabilities that are needed.
Regarding the possible release date of Apple MacBook Pro 2016, it was previously rumored to arrive in March at a special Apple event, which will be held in San Francisco, California. However, now, it is expected that the laptop will be launched at a later date, according to BGR. It may be launched alongside other devices such as the Apple iPhone 5se, the iPad Air 3 and also the Apple Watch 2.
Meanwhile, hardware-wise, this laptop from the Cupertino-based company is rumored to be powered with Intel's sixth generation micro-architecture, the highly anticipated Skylake chipset. This new offering from Intel offers a number of advantages over its predecessors.
The Skylake chipset will improve the performance of the device and will feature a smarter usage of power, which will extend the MacBook Pro's already amazing battery life. Additionally, it is reported that since a lot of companies are releasing laptops with 4K display, Apple may try to enhance their Retina display laptops as well. Hence, the 2016 Apple laptops may come with higher and better resolution displays.
It is also expected that the graphics will be shown at a 4K output on the device. The rumor regarding the inclusion of the OLED display in the upcoming Apple devices such as MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 is also strong.
On the other hand, the laptop may have other features like the USB Type C connection port and the Thunderbolt port, along with the Force Touch technology. It may also house the current OS X El Capitan.
