Microsoft's 343 Industries has confirmed that the February update of "Halo 5: Guardians" will be packed with lots of new features and exciting items, making the game better that ever before. Inclusion of a number of new game modes, such as fan favorite Grifball, is expected to take the gaming experience to a new level.
In fact, 343 Industries has been improving its first-person shooter by incorporating new features since last fall. Recently, studio multiplayer designer Max Grossman and software engineer Miller Tinkerhess confirmed in a post on its Halo Waypoint site that they have already packed the February update of "Halo 5: Guardians" with a number of new features, and the game will be receiving a few ball-related multiplayer modes this month.
The developer team sought the help of Jeffery "Noyard" Fischer, a Grifball expert, with a view to offer the players a better gaming experience, and the latter developed the first ever "Halo 5: Guardians" Grifball court for the February update. Together with weapons designer Daniel Wiksten, Fishcer tried to create a balance between the Ball, Gravity Hammer and Sword and Ball, which are vital for the shooter game, Gotta Be Mobile reported.
Acknowledging Fisher's contribution in developing the new update for "Halo 5: Guardians," Grossman wrote in the post, "We leveraged Nokyard's wealth of Grifball knowledge to try to make the most exciting Grifball yet, complete with thrusting Grif, Ground Pound kills, and ball throwing."
Aside from these, "Halo 5: Guardians" will be receiving one more classic mode called Assault Mode. In fact, this mode, also known as the classic Neutral Bomb Assault Mode, will be making resurgence in the game. Although the basic concepts as well as the objects will remain unaltered, the developer team revealed that they are making some modifications in this mode to make the game more interesting.
In addition, the February update for "Halo 5: Guardians" will incorporate the Fiesta Mode. The designers also revealed that they would be adding a few new features to the Forge Mode with a view to further support players' creativity. 343 Industries will also release the new Arena REQ Bundle e on Feb. 16 with thrilling items like armor sets, weapon skins and so one.
