New character statues based from "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" video game is said to be released towards the end of 2016's first quarter. Action figures, statues, bust and other collectibles were planned and created, according to the partnership of Dark Horse and CD Projekt Red. The characters that are in-line to be released later this year include Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss, Wild Hunt King and Ereden.
There will be more merchandise that will be released all throughout 2016, according to IGN. First to be made public are the images of the toy statue of Geralt of Rivia that was released by Dark Horse itself. These images of the said character gives a glimpse of what other characters may look like. As of the moment, no other images or image figures has been uploaded by Dark Horse of CD Projekt Red.
The "high-end" line of merchandise also includes jewelry replicas, stationary and barware, as well as "other collectibles" that will sell at $30 each. The first batch of action figures that will be released in fall of 2016 are all custom-painted, GameSpot reported.
Rafat Jaki, Business Manager of CD Projekt Red, stated their excitement in bringing "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" characters to life. The action figures and other collectibles were long-been requested by the "Witcher 3" fanatics. The perfect partnership of CD Projekt Red and Dark Horse is a milestone for the fans who requested for these merchandises. "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" fanatics have requested for these toys to be created, not only few times, but several times. CD Projekt Red's Jaki is hoping that people will be able to take in consideration the hard work and craftsmanship that their company has dedicated to make these figures available.
The creation and selling of these action figures is not the first time these two companies have partnered with. CD Projekt Red and Dark Horse have already made recent collaboration for the graphic novels and comics of "The Witcher: House of Glass" and "The Witcher: Fox Children." "The World of The WItcher" art book was also produced by Dark Horse.
