"The Wolf Of Wall Street" star Leonardo DiCaprio,41, displayed his romantic side when he stunned attendees at this year's BAFTA Awards by leaning into kiss British actress, Dame Maggie Smith, 81, during the proceedings of the show.
The host of the British Award ceremony, Stephen Fry, playfully turned a Kiss Cam on the superstar attendees, egging them on to kiss those who were paired on the heart shaped screen, as it was Valentine's Day.
The "Titanic" heartthrob wasted no time as he quickly stood up from his seat and displayed the amorous side of him by innocently placing a kiss on Smith who sat in the front row to him.
While couple Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander decided to ignore the camera, a playful and impassioned embrace was displayed by actor Brian Cranston and actress Julianne Moore.
Furthermore, Cuba Gooding Jr. also joined in and placed a kiss on Stanley Tucci's bald head at the gala event, Daily Mail reported.
The BAFTA Awards this year were dominated by DiCaprio's film "The Revenant." The film won the award for best film while DiCaprio took home the prize for the best actor along with Alejandro G Inarritu who won the best director.
DiCaprio in the film portrays the character of Hugh Glass - a fur trapper who is attacked by a grizzly bear and is left to die by those on his expedition believing his wounds to be too serious to survive. Glass not only survives but comes back to take his revenge.
Meanwhile, Fry deactivated his Twitter account soon after the BAFTA Awards and took to his official blog to explain.
Fry faced harsh criticism via social media after commenting that costume designer Jenny Beavan looked like a "bag lady." According to reports, the comedian and actor insisted later on that Beavan was a friend and that she understood the joke.
Fry said deleting his account was not an attempt to "slam the door" on Twitter but said the social media site has become a "stalking ground for the sanctimoniously self-righteous". He said people should " grieve" for what Twitter has become.
The BAFTA Awards held at the Royal Opera House in London and is estimated to have drawn more than four million viewers in Britain.
