After creating much frenzy among the fans of "Game Of Thrones" by releasing pics from the upcoming season and a delirious trailer, the show makers have released two more pictures suggesting an altogether new plot.
A whole load of pics was released from the show's Twitter account, featuring Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie). However, two pics were held back and were released later on the show's official blog, Making Game Of Thrones.
Both pics featured Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) standing in the snow, looking unwashed and tired. But what has caught the fans' attention is a seemingly tiny baby bump.
While some fans wondered if the bump could be an illusion created by the cut of the fabric and her movement in that robe, another fan theory has emerged that Sansa is actually pregnant, which will mean that she is bearing the child of Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon).
Viewers of the show reportedly still remember the brutal rape scene of Sansa. The shot drew so much criticism that the show makers had to announce that "Game Of Thrones" season 6 will be toned down a bit, in terms of sexual violence.
If Sansa Stark actually turns out pregnant, the possibility is most likely to give her a controlling position since she will be carrying an heir to the Stark and Bolton houses.
Earlier, Turner had hinted on her fate in the upcoming season by saying in an interview that this cycle will be "a really, really big one" for her character.
"It's really her coming into her own," Turner told Entertainment Weekly. "She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it's really good."
Meanwhile, fans of Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) continue to suffer with suspense as the character's fate still remains unclear about his return in the upcoming season. The finale episode of last season showed the shocking death of the beloved warrior. Despite vehement confirmation from the show makers and the actor himself, the fans of the show continue to believe that Harrington will again reprise his role for "Game Of Thrones" season 6.
