"The Bachelor" season 20 episode 8 saw every heart in America break when Ben Higgins sent Amanda Stanton home after hometown dates. Fans were into the sweet, single mother of two, and their hearts ached for the star when she questioned Higgins about waiting until the rose ceremony to send her home and making her leave her family again.

Eliminations are inevitable for the game and this is a reality TV show. While Stanton knew what she was signing up for, it was very hard to watch. According to Bustle, Stanton's love story is unfinished and that it is a key reason she should be the next Bachelorette.

The last episode was difficult to see her come out, leaving her life, and doing what she could to be there with Higgins and then being sent packing.

While Stanton knew this season would not favor her, she still watched the show and supported it. She is not only a contestant but also a loyal viewer, which would be fair for her as the star of "The Bachelorette."

3. Open-mindedness

Stanton does not allow anyone to look down on her. When Olivia Caridi commented negatively about Stanton being a young mother, the latter stood up for herself and explained her point of view to Higgins.

4. A Good Sport

Stanton had no poor attitude when other girls on the show got one-on-one dates or special attention from Higgins. Besides, she ended up becoming good friends with other contestants. Stanton and Lauren Bushnell were besties throughout their experience on "The Bachelor."
