The HTC 10 details seem to be leaking out at an accelerated pace, showing off the specs and features of the flagship device that will beat the competition. And the recent HTC 10 leaks appear to indicate of handset feature upgrades designed to topple the Google Nexus 2016, for one. Or even convince Google that it is the One solid candidate for the next Nexus flagship.

Solid and metal build with POLED screen

As suggested by the earlier leaked details and again supported by the pics shared by Weibo user @UpLeaks and via 9to5Google, the HTC 10 is a contraption made of melded glass and metal that promises not only solid build but also top-notch design that can match up with that of the Apple iPhone 6S and Samsung Galaxy S7.

And if the rumors picked up by Geek Snack will prove correct, HTC is likely to include POLED with the HTC 10 package. That would mean a plastic OLED that is either curved or flexible.

Top-tier smartphone

The latest information aligns with the earlier shared details from Evan Blass and @OnLeaks that the HTC 10 will offer the best hardware specs that a 2016 Android flagship can offer. The device will be bannered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820, which in the latest AnTuTu benchmark testing scored in soaring numbers unseen before, and up to 4GB of RAM.

These specs alone indicate that the HTC 10 has the makings of a flagship killer, able to slay the Nexus 2016 and the like.

Killer camera

It is said that the main HTC 10 shooter is packed with a 12-megapixel sensor made by Sony, the same company responsible for the shooting prowess that made the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus as smartphone camera kings.

More color options

The renders from @UpLeaks indicate that the HTC 10 will unbox with at least four color options that include the flagship favorites of white, silver, gold and black. This hints that buyers have a lot to pick from when they look beyond Apple, Samsung and Google.

Imminent launch

The images also came with the clue that the HTC 10 is happening very soon, possibly no later than April 19, according to Blass, which indicates that the actual availability is on or soon after the specified time frame. For Android fans that would mean a release date that is already on the horizon - enough reason perhaps to skip what the Google Nexus 2016 has to offer later on.
