The latest details for "Street Fighter 5" will feature new PC mods for R. Mika and Cammy White, punishments for rage quitters and a possible early launch of the March update.
Capcom announce a short-term penalty as punishment for players who are constantly "rage" quitting during online matches within "Street Fighter 5". The Japanese video game company has been receiving complaints from players regarding the quitters on online matches as they received tons of videos from gaming fans and cross reference them, thus identifying the gamers abusing the system.
As a result, Capcom will be docking league points from the offenders as they will notice that their rank and LP significantly dropped in their "Street Fighter 5" accounts as a warning. For now, Capcom will continue to monitor the online matches within "Street Fighter 5" to identify more rage quitters within the game, Polygon reported.
In other news, there are rumors making rounds that the March DLC update for "Street Fighter 5" will launch very soon.
According to the "Street Fighter 5" Steam Community post, one of the gaming fans speculated that tge patch is being quality tested by Sony on the PlayStation 4 as patches for the console and the PC should come out simultaneously in order for cross gameplay to work properly.
Many gamers anticipate the new update to launch closer March 31, as the update will also contain a new DLC character Alex will joing "Street Fighter 5's" impressive roster. Alex is one the many DLC characters that Capcom has been teasing several months back along with Guile, Ibuki, Urien, Balrog and Juri.
So far, Capcom has not yet commented on the rumors and speculations regarding the early release of the March DLC update for "Street Fighter 5".
Digital media and eSports director Neidel "Haunts" Crisan stated that they will continue to develop improvements for the matchmaking and battle lounge features within "Street Fighter 5" such as Ranked" and "Casual" matches, expecting players to have a quicker search for an opponent.
Capcom announced that they are bringing an "Arcade mode" to "Street Fighter 5" very soon as gamers note that this is the only sequel that does not have a proper "arcade" style game mode. There will also be a new story mode expansion on June.
Lastly, PC modder Tommy has created to PC mods for Cammy White and R. Mika as "Tomb Raider" main protagonist Lara Croft and DC comics super villain Harley Quinn. The PC modder was first known to create the Hot Ryu Mod. Tommy has uploaded two gameplay videos for each character on his YouTube account.
