The latest hearsays about "Call of Duty" are pointing out that the next Infinity Ward's entry will be dubbed "Bloodlines."
This is according to a recent leak from Geno, a source better known for leaking Nintendo and "Pokémon" details. Although he had no further details to convey, the source gave gamers an interesting topic to speak about. But firstly, "Call of Duty" fans are advised to seize a pinch of salt.
Apparently, the report from Geno shows that the next "Call of Duty" entry will be a multiplatform release and will be coming in November. It will also come to Nintendo NX on its own launch before Christmas.
Specifically, Geno told Dual Pixels that "Activision plans on bringing Skylanders at launch to the NX along with the next "Call of Duty" game called "Bloodlines," in fall 2016". He further said that the company will be teaming up with Platinum Games in the launch of "Spider-Man: The First Avenger" which will link to the Marvel movie and universe.
Also, according to the same report, Activision is currently receiving "hard bargains" from Nintendo in the effort of bringing BETA access to "Beyond the Destiny," another sequel to Bungie's destiny prospected to launch in holiday 2017. On the face of it, the company has interests of introducing "Beyond Destiny" to Nintendo NX.
This is because of the fact that players can play local and online multiplayer among units at the same time. Furthermore, the new mainline "Pokémon" games will both guarantee a large NX user base and a new audience that they can bring into the franchise, Nintendo Insider reported.
If the deal goes through, then "Call of Duty" enthusiasts will see a new version of the "Destiny" game in 2017. No details, however, have been put across owing to the reason that there is little known about the NX as of now.
The use of the term "between units," further fuels rumors of a home console with a built-in handheld which features portability capabilities. Of course, it could be all wrong, and so gamers will have to wait for this year's E3 where Infinity Ward has promised to unveil the next "Call of Duty" game.
