[UPDATE] ‘Shadowhunters’ Season 1, episode 11 promo, spoilers: What happens in ‘Blood Calls to Blood’?

Update: The promo starts with Jace telling Clary that she should have told him. The voiceover states that a shocking secret is revealed in the new episode.

Meanwhile, Alec blames Jace for lying to him, but Jace thinks that he saved him from himself. It is time for them to choose sides. Izzy can be seen in the court and she announces that she would rather be stripped of her powers than be a part of this world.

The promo ends with Alec telling Clary that if she doesn't help them, no one will survive.

Synopsis for "Shadowhunters" Season 1, episode 11

"After receiving important intel about Valentine from a surprising ally, Clary, Jace and Luke devise a plan to rescue Jocelyn. With the mission looking almost impossible, the three will stop at nothing to rescue Clary's mother and put a stop to Valentine once and for all.

Meanwhile, Inquisitor Herondale arrives at the Institute for Isabelle's trial as Alec turns to Magnus for help," reads the synopsis for the new episode.

Meanwhile, in other "Shadowhunters" news, Freeform announced that the show has been renewed for Season 2. Elsewhere, Harry Shum Jr. (Magnus Bane) talked to ET Online about his character and the makeup.

"It was really important to me to make sure that I represented him in the right way, because he means so much to the fans," the actor said.

He stated that he had to get a cushion to sit on and get his makeup done, moreover he "gained so much more respect for people who put on makeup."
