"Rap God" rapper Eminem is into comics. In fact, he visited a comic bookstore called Club del Comic while in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for the Lollapalooza South America 2016.
The store owner found out that Eminem preferred Marvel over DC comics, Infobae reported. The Detroit rapper bought Marvel comics in Spanish in the comic bookstore along with action figures of the AMC series "The Walking Dead."
Among the famous Marvel Comics superheroes are Iron Man, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Deadpool, Thor and Hulk. Magneto, Thanos, Loki, Ultron, The Enchantress, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Doctor Doom are among its famous villains.
On the other hand, DC Comics is known for its heroic characters including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Flash, Shazam and Hawkman. Among its famous villains are Catwoman, Joker, Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Black Adam, Sinestro, Brainiac, Darkseid and Ra's al Ghul.
In 2002, Eminem released his fourth studio album titled "The Eminem Show." The music video of its lead single "Without Me" featured a parody of comics including the DC Comics characters Batman and Robin as well as the Marvel Comics character Blade.
Aside from the "Rap God" rapper, several Lollapalooza artists are also in Buenos Aires. The English rock band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds is set to performed Estadio Luna Park.
Some Hollywood actors are also currently in Buenos Aires. Ashton Kutcher is in the city promoting the upcoming Netflix comedy series titled "The Ranch," which is created by Jim Patterson and Don Reo.
The first 10 episodes of "The Ranch" are scheduled to premiere on April 1. Joining Kutcher in the cast are Sam Elliott, Danny Masterson, Elisha Cuthbert, Debra Winger and Kathy Baker, among others.
Some stars of TV series are currently in Buenos Aires, as well. Among them are Michael Kelly, who play Doug Stamper in "House of Cards," and Jackie Cruz, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Selenys Leyva, who play Marisol "Flaca" Gonzales, Aleida Diaz and Gloria Mendoza, respectively, in "Orange is the New Black," according to The Bubble.
