Adele, 27, is one the big fans of Mariah Carey, 45. In fact, the "Hello" hit maker gave a shout-out to the former "American Idol" judge during her recent concert in London.
"Did you read that article the other day where Mariah Carey called the lighting abusive?" Just Jared quoted Adele as saying during the concert. "She is so biblical that lady. It's a joke."
What Adele was referring to was Carey's interview with Sunday Times, in which she described a lighting as abusive. She told the publication in a rented house, she would never have overhead lighting.
"High hats, they call them," Carey told the publication. "In my apartment in New York, it's all recessed lighting, chandeliers, candles."
During the recent London concert, Adele went on to say she absolutely adores and loves Carey. She added that she thinks that the former wife of Nick Cannon, 35, "should be in the Bible."
Before seguing into talking about Carey, Adele talked about how ridiculous it would be to wear a shirt with her face on it. She also joked that she should leave a note for Carey when a fan mentioned that the "All I Want for Christmas is You" singer was performing in the same venue after one night.
In November 2015, Adele released her third studio album titled "25." Released by XL Recordings, the album has 11 tracks, namely "Hello," "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)," "I Miss You," When We were Young," "Remedy," "Water under the Bridge," "River Lea," "Love in the Dark," "Million Years Ago" and "All I Ask" and "Sweetest Devotion."
Adelle wrote all the 11 tracks in "25." Among her co-writes are Ryan Tedder and Bruno Mars.
Carey, on the other hand, has yet to release her 15th studio album. Her 14th studio album titled "Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse" was released by Def Jam Recordings on May 23, 2014.
During the production of "Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse," Carey hired her former fellow "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson, 59, to manage her career. However, she replaced him with Jermaine Dupri, 43.
