Jackie Chan arrived in Jaipur for his next Hollywood film called "Kung Fu Yoga" in the morning on March 22, Tuesday. He was accommodated at Mansingh Palace, Amber Fort.
Chan rested at the hotel for a few hours upon arrival. The rest of the film team started shooting for other parts of the film without the Chinese actor in the morning to not waste time, according to Times of India.
Amber Fort did not allow cars to enter during the elephant safari, so Chan had to walk three kilometers to get to the venue, according to Bollywood Life. He sat with director Stanley Tong as soon as he arrived on the set to discuss a few scenes for the film.
Amyra Dastur, who is making her Hollywood debut with this film, was seen shooting some action sequences along with Chinese co-star Li Zi Long. The sequences were shot in a busy market set-up that the crew had created.
The fans that were waiting for hours to catch a glimpse of their favorite Chinese action star were left disappointed, since they were not allowed to enter the area of the set. The cast will be shooting at the fort until March 25 and after that they will shoot at the City Palace from March 26 to 28.
On March 29, the whole crew will be flying to Jodhpur, where they will be shooting a special dance number at Umaid Bhawan Palace. There, the cast will be joined by Sonu Sood and Farah Khan, who will choreograph the steps for the song.
Chan will join Sood and Dastur in the special number for the film, which will be shot on a set in Rajasthan and then later in Beijing. Sood was the one that convinced the Chinese superstar to do a song number by explaining to him how Indians love music in their films.
