"Hawaii Five-0" Season 6 has been on a hiatus for two weeks due to the broadcast of 2016 NCAA Basketball tournament. When the show returns, it will pick up from episode 18 wherein the Five-0 will discover an illegal slave trade network. Meanwhile, Danny's day out with his children takes an unexpected turn.
According to Spoiler TV's synopsis for "Hawaii Five-0" Season 6 episode 18, a dead body is discovered drifting off the coast of Oahu. As they delve deeper into the case and investigate, the team uncovers a dangerous slave trading network. Upon more investigation, it is found out that the cell is operating aboard an illegal fishing vessel.
Elsewhere, Danny decides to spend time with his family. When he takes his children out for some fun time, something unexpected happens. Their car is stolen and he gets on his bus to catch the thieves.
Speaking to TV Line about episode 18, "Hawaii Five-0" creator Peter Lenkov revealed plot details and assured Danny and his family is not in danger. "They're not really in jeopardy, but they get in a situation where they end up having their car stolen," Lenkov said.
"They go to spend a quality day with their dad and their car gets stolen for a robbery, and they chase the car.... It's a fun story that brings him closer together with his kids," he added.
