"The Fosters" season 3 is just a few more episodes short of its finale episode.
In an interview with TV Line, lead star Maia Mitchell dished on what's in store for her character Callie, as well as the other characters on the hit Freeform TV series.
According to the Australian actress, Callie will be in a huge danger towards the end of the episode, and her fate would have something to do with her mentor Justina (Kelli Williams).
"Kelli Williams plays Justina so perfectly. She's so awesome. I love working with her because Justina is so manipulative, and I think the character really does think that she's doing the right thing. But it's just so twisted and under the surface and manipulative. Because it if was overt, Callie would be onto it... You're definitely going to see all of those moments culminate and explode in the finale and see Callie quite sassy," she said.
Meanwhile, Mitchell also talked about the shocking reveal in one of the episodes where Jude's friend Jack has been killed off.
"Jude begins a spiritual journey a little bit and considers what happens after death. He is much more reflective and interally sad, whereas Callie is gung-ho about it. The moms are quite interested in how Pearson got another kid in the first place, and they discover that it was through privatization. So their main concern is for Callie and what she's endorsing and that she really understands that full weight of what she's publicly reforming. It's the catalyst for a lot of change," she said.
In the previous episode, Jack kissed Jude even though the former told Callie that he's not really gay.
However, just when he was about to come clean to Jude, the latter suddenly gave him a mobile phone that he can use so they can communicate regularly.
Previously, Jude was separated from her boyfriend who decided to live with his mother in another state. When Judge's boyfriend was finally ready to have sex, the former realized that he wasn't ready for it yet.
"The Fosters" season 3 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
