Speculations are rife that the Android Marshmallow release is imminent for BlackBerry Priv. The device was spotted running on the latest operating system in a video.
According to GSM Arena, the Android Marshmallow update release was scheduled for BlackBerry Priv in January, but it was delayed. Recently, the device was spotted running on Android Marshmallow in a video, which suggests that the company is preparing to release the update by mid-April.

Android Marshmallow has been rolled out to numerous other smarphones such as LG G4, LG G3, HTC One M9 and the Sony Xperia Z series as well. However, Sony Xperia Z5 faced numerous issues after the update and then Sony had to release a quick patch to fix those bugs.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is slightly ahead of the game as far as the operating system updates are concerned. Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update has been rolled out for Galaxy Note 5 in numerous countries, including India.
There is distressing news for all the HTC One M7 users, as the company has confirmed that it will not be rolling out the latest update to this device. As HTC One M7 is more than two years old, so it is not deemed fit as a likely candidate for Android Marshmallow.
Meanwhile, Android Marshmallow is packed with numerous useful features. It has the ability to check which applications are most common and using the maximum memory. This can be seen on the Memory tab key. This will allow the intelligent core of the UI to regulate the usage of the phone based on these observations.
Google Now advanced functions will also be included in the system after the Android Marshmallow upgrade, according to BGR. It will provide the users a shortcut to use Google's features. The users will only need to press the Home button for a few seconds and Google Now will immediately pop up at their service. Unlike in Lollipop, users do not need to close any applications in order to open Google Now.
