The Los Angeles Rams are still interested in bringing back kicker Greg Zuerlein, who remains unsigned three weeks into free agency.

The Rams have made it known that they are still keen in re-signing Zuerlein back for the club to have a legitimate alternative at the kicker position. Rams coach Jeff Fisher revealed the interest is mutual between the team and Zuerlein is mutual, although the 28-year-old placekicker could face stiff competition.

"He wants to come back and we have interest in having him back," Fisher said, reports ESPN.

I'm sure we'll get something, assuming we'll get something worked out soon. Going to create a competitive environment, however, for him. I think he needs to compete this year."

Zuerlein finished the season with the lowest field goal conversion rate among the league's regular kickers. Last season, he ranked 35th in field goal percentage among the 37 kickers who attempted a field goal.

Meanwhile, the Rams are projected to use their 15th overall pick for a cornerback in an attempt to replace Janoris Jenkins, who signed with the New York Giants in the offseason. SB Nation's Dan Kadar reported that the Rams could pick CB Mackensie Alexander of Clemson in the site's 2016 NFL mock draft.

"I don't see why it would stop them from taking a cornerback this time around. And in all honesty, it's not a horrible pick," Kadar wrote. "Alexander fits a bit of a need while providing long-term talent growth if Trumaine Johnson doesn't sign a long-term deal following his franchise tag in 2016 or if the other CBs on the roster don't step up."

The Rams have four picks in the top 100 selection of this year's NFL draft, reports Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times. LA have a total of six picks in the seven-round draft, having the 15th overall pick in the first round, 43rd and 45th picks in the second round and 76th in the third.

The Rams will not have a pick in the seventh round after trading it to the Houston Texans as part of a deal that acquired quarterback Case Keenum.
