"The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) airs a dramatic episode on April 7, Thursday. The upcoming segment features Justin Hartley as Adam, Melissa Claire Egan as Chelsea, Eric Braeden as Victor, Joshua Morrow as Nick, Amelia Heinle as Victoria and other Genoa City residents. The next chapter features new problems for Chelsea and Adam, and Nick springs into action and takes responsibility of his family. The upcoming segment of "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) opens with a major drama between Adam and Chelsea. The tension between the couple seems to be never-ending as Victor demands another favour from his son.
According to the spoilers by We Love Soaps, Chelsea lashes out at Adam. Newmans' situation continues to cause trouble between the couple. Entertainment publication Soap Central suggests Adam is forced to pick sides and this leads to problems and disagreements between Chelsea and Adam.
A television spot for "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) episode airing on April 7 teases a heated conversation between the couple.
"Okay, what did Victor say; what did he promise you? Or worse, what did you agree to?" Chelsea tells Adam, who is reluctant to talk about the issue yet. In the previous episode, Victor summoned Adam to the prison and shared his fear. Victor told Ian that he has a feeling that Ian Ward will come after him and attempt to kill him again. Victor wants Adam to avenge him if Ian kills him.
In addition, fans can expect to see more of Victor, who is now in prison. It is said that Victor becomes accustomed to the prison life. Elsewhere, Nick prepares to take matters into his own hands and take the responsibility of protecting his family.
In order to keep his family safe, Nick decides to help his sister Victoria. The promo video teases an interaction between the siblings. "At least you won't be doing it alone; I'm here to offer you my help," Nick tells Victoria in the promo.
