One of the "Game of Thrones" most sinister, merciless villains, Ramsay Bolton, is likely to change in the season 6. The revelation is made by none other than Iwan Rheon, the actor who plays the psychopath in the hit HBO series.
During a recent interview, Rheon has hinted that Ramsay will now refrain a bit from doing evil stuff in the upcoming season.
"I get to do loads of different things and show sides to Ramsay that you haven't seen before,"Entertainment Weekly quoted the 30-year-old as saying.
Ramsay has proved to be one of the "biggest douchebags" of the series after the death of Joffrey Baratheon in season 4. After brutally raping Sansa Stark(Sophie Turner) on her wedding night, Ramsay easily earned the status of the show's irredeemable monster.
Since Sansa has finally fled her cruel husband's clutches at Winterfell along with Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen), several fan theories have claimed that Roose Bolton's bastard son will meet a gruesome end in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. However, it appears now that the character is here to stay by remaining in control of his unfortunate wife Sansa's family seat for a little while longer and will even change shades in the upcoming season.
Revealing that his character's storyline in season 6 will pick up from the aftermath of last season, Rhen further said that Ramsay will become sheepish after Sansa's escape as he will be left without a Stark and a possible heir. It is also speculated that Sansa will be shown pregnant with Ramsay's child in the upcoming season.
The actor also hinted about Ramsay and Myranda's relationship by saying that now he will realize how he actually feels about his bitter ex-girlfriend. The Welsh actor also teased that since Ramsay has already been established as a nefarious character, he will be no longer remain as evil this season.
"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is set to premiere on HBO on April 24. Since the show has outpaced its source novels, George R.R. Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" series, it is expected to deviate even further from the original material. Earlier, Martin has admitted in his blog that he has failed to meet his extended deadline for the sixth novel. Meanwhile, watch "Game of Thrones" Season 6 official trailer below:
