Bottom three team Sunderland AFC (6-16-9, 27 points) is set to host surprise league leaders and potential 2015-2016 Premier League champions Leicester City (20-3-9, 69 points) at their home field of Stadium of Light on Sunday, April 10th.
Sunderland is currently in the relegation zone, third from the last spot in the league table, and had been winless in their last five assignments. Their last win was on Feb. 13th, a 2-1 decision over Manchester United also at their home stadium.
The Black Cats are coming off a 0-0 draw with middling club West Bromwich Albion again at the Stadium of Light last Saturday, as reported by SkySports.
It was the fourth straight drawn match for manager Sam Allardyce's team which put them in danger of being demoted to the Football League Championship next season.
With the result, the team is now four points behind the 17th spot safety zone currently held by newly-promoted side Norwich City with only seven matches left in their campaign this season.
Meanwhile, Leicester City is looking good and ready to be crowned the next English top flight champions as they are seven points ahead of second-running team Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently on a downward spiral, with six games remaining in their season.
The Foxes will look to extend their current four-game winning run against the lowly Black Cats and odds are in favor of Claudio Ranieri's boys to pull off another victory on the road.
Leicester nipped contending squad Southampton, 1-0, at the King Power Stadium in their most recent game last Sunday, as per BBC Sport.
Team captain Wes Morgan scored the lone goal of the game at the 38th minute, which proved to be enough for the Foxes to earn three more points in the overall standings on their way to potentially their first ever Premier League title in history.
The predicted result is a 3-1 win for Leicester City.
