"The Vampire Diaries" (TVD) Season 7 episode 18 sees Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) finally discover the key to bring his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley) back. The upcoming segment is titled "One Way or Another" wherein Damon is still struggling to save his brother. Here are the detailed spoilers for the next chapter of the series. In episode 17 "I Went to the Woods," Damon deals with the repercussions of his actions and failed attempt to transfer Stefan's mark to himself. He tries to reverse the damage he caused but fails. Soon he discovers that his brother might seem alright but his body has been taken over by another entity and the real Stefan remains missing.
Moving on to the next episode, fans can expect to see Damon get into action to save his brother. The network has released a detailed synopsis (via Spoilersguide.com) for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 episode 18 "One Way or Another." Spoilers suggest the appearance of a vampire on the run named Ambrose. This vampire holds the answer to Damon's search for Stefan. In an attempt to catch Ambrose, Damon sets out on a mission that leads him to Memphis where he meets Alaric, who has given up the life of hunting.
Damon might be disappointed as Alaric refuses to be involved in Damon's mission. Alaric is quite clear with his intention and expresses his reluctance in going back to his previous life and vampire hunting ways. During their meeting, Alaric (Matt Davis) even talks about the three years when Damon was in self-imposed exile.
Elsewhere, fans will see Bonnie (Kat Graham) in the psych ward. Here, she comes across a woman named Virginia (Aisha Duran), who happens to know why The Armory is chasing her. At the same time, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) receives a disturbing news from Rayna (Leslie-Ann Huff) and decides to take control of things.
