Chris Evans presented a new "Captain America: Civil War" clip during the MTV Movie Awards and the video has all the action thrills needed to further hype up the film. In the video, Team Cap is up against the bad guys and Team Iron Man, and Crossbones also got his hands full fighting the Avengers.
MTV on its official website shared the "Captain America: Civil War" clip that opens with Captain America (Chris Evans) leaping through the air before landing on an enemy. A series of impressive action sequences follow with Cap flinging his shield as a weapon and to shots of him kicking his enemies.
Falcon (Anthony Mackie) appears next flying through the air and using his wings to take out two armed men before landing on a rooftop. Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) comes flying from behind Falcon and lands on the ground below him. Viewers see some amazing shots of Wanda Maximoff proving just how powerful she is as she calmly deflects the bullets aimed at her back to the shooter.
The trio seems to be assisting in a hostage situation happening inside a building. Cap tells Wanda to levitate him to the third floor and Cap goes crashing through a window.
According to Heroic Hollywood, somehow Brock Rumlow aka Crossbones orchestrated this chaos. It is believed this scene in "Captain America: Civil War" happens early on in the film before the launch of the Sokovia Accords.
A mix of scenes taken from "Captain America: Civil War" are also played out in the video. There is a shot of Steve Roger and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) talking and a glimpse at Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). Crossbones (Frank Grillo) also appears in a fight scene with Captain America.
Tony also gets into a fight with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan). Steve Rogers gets rained with bullets from a flying Iron Man. The video ends with Cap fighting Black Panther and the team finally divided into two-Team Cap and Team Iron Man. The video however did not feature the other important characters in the film, namely Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Agent Emily Carter (Emily VanCamp).
"Captain America: Civil War" opens in theaters on May 6. See the video presented at the MTV Movie Awards below.
