"Scorpion" season 2, episode 23 will see Walter (Elyes Gabel) and Paige (Katharine McPhee) getting closer as ever.
However, the circumstances wouldn't be very easy for the two characters.
In "Chernobyl Intentions," Team Scorpion will head to Chernobyl to try and repair a tragic meltdown. While there, Sylvester (Ari Stidham) and Paige will get trapped.
Walter will be the first to rescue the two of them especially since he has very strong feelings for Paige.
In the sneak peek released by CBS for episode 23, Walter encouraged Paige to carefully cross from one end of the room to the next.
"Keep your heads up where there's the center of gravity... We're almost at the end," Walter gave Paige a pep talk.
However, Walter will suddenly slip from below the thin metal pathway. At this point, Paige will panic as she tries to help him up again.
"Whatever you do, do not breathe in," Paige instructed him.
Sylvester and Agent Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick), who are waiting for Walter and Paige outside, contacted the latter to check up on the two of them.
"What's going on?" Cabe asked Paige.
"Walter is hanging from... He cannot pull himself up," Paige said.
Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) then explained to Paige why Walter is unable to pull himself up.
"Of course he can't. His muscles are deprived of oxygen. He needs air," Toby said.
Since she is already out of options, Paige will decide to breathe in and kiss Walter to transfer some air into his mouth.
At this point, Happy (Jadyn Wong) will check up on the two again, but she wouldn't be able to hear anything.
"Hold on, is that smooching? Holy CPR mole, she's kissed life into the son of a gun," Toby said rhetorically.
After their brief kiss, Walter was finally able to pull himself up, and the two of them started crossing the metal pathway again.
Meanwhile, in the previous episode, Walter already had the urge to tell Paige how he truly feels about her.
Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do so because Paige has become very close with Tim (Scott Porter).
"Scorpion" season 2, episode 23 will air on CBS on April 18 at 9 p.m. ET.
