The spoilers suggest at the possibility of an uprising as survivors from Westeros and Essos come together. Meanwhile, fans can expect to see some familiar faces return and formation of some new alliances to strengthen the chances of surviving. At the same time, new faces and powers will emerge from all around in the east, west, north and south.

Recently, the network released the final trailer for "Game of Thrones" (GOT) Season 6 episode 1. It opens with Tyrion's statement, "Whoever you are, wherever you go, someone wants to murder you." The opening scene also gives a glimpse of Jon Snow's dead body. It showcases scenes involving Daenery's and Night's King. It also teases a passionate moment between Cersei and Jamie.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, writer-producer Bryan Cogman revealed what to expect from Season 6 as compared to its previous seasons. "Seasons 2-4 were about the expansion of this world; seasons 5 and 6 are about contracting," Cogman said. "Characters who were rivals, and in some cases enemies, are being forced to work together, which makes for a lot of juicy dramatic tension. And then there's the obvious answer in terms of the size of the show. We say this every year, but it's true - this is the biggest season of 'Game of Thrones.'"
