Fans must prepare themselves for a deadly encounter between Klaus and Lucien. According to the synopsis (via Spoilersguide.com) for "The Originals" Season 3 episode 20 "When Nothing Stays Buried," Klaus, Elijah and Freya team up together to bring down Lucien as they continue to deal with the aftermath of Lucien's actions.
The trio thinks of a plan to stop Lucien. However, there are numerous obstacles that they must deal with before they reach Lucien. In an unexpected moment, Kol and Marcel ask Klaus to help them with a new problem. So, Klaus' decides to send Freya and Elijah to help Kol and Marcel while he carries on with the mission.
It is no surprise that Freya and Elijah are not happy with Klaus' decision. So, Hayley joins Klaus in the endeavour and together they head to the bayou after learning more Lucien's plan. At the bayou, Klaus and Lucien engage in a deadly combat.
Meanwhile, Freya decides to take control of things in an attempt to help Klaus. However, her actions and decisions lead to the events that will change their lives forever. What actually happens, remains to be seen
