The worst kept secret in the history of "Game of Thrones" is the fact that Jon Snow, initially thought dead, is indeed very alive. The production team worked hard to keep Snow's return under wrap by even going to the extent of banning his name from being uttered during filming of the sixth installment.
During the shooting of Harington's new scenes for "Game of Thrones" Season 6, the cast and crew were not allowed to mention "Jon Snow" on set at all, according to Entertainment Weekly. The words were only mentioned during scenes where Snow's name had to be said as part of dialogue.
During the filming of Jon Snow's scenes, the production team gave him the nickname "LC," to refer to Snow's previous title as Lord Commander. Actor Kit Harington as well was compelled to use the same nickname, just like the cast and crew was ordered to call him "LC," in the same way he was called to set. This was meant to keep off people not working on the show from accidentally overhearing it.
However, the beautiful codename did not stop people from discovering about Jon Snow's comeback before last weekend's shocking cliffhanger. In fact, Melisandre, who was seemingly forced to spend much time washing Harington's naked body as part of the resurrection scene, gave the "LC" acronym a weird meaning "Long Cock," according to Jezebel.
Meanwhile, the continuous coverage of Jon Snow's return continues to give weird treats concerning the worst kept secret in "Game of Thrones" history by shocking avid fans of the "Harington's hair length." Nothing was even real in his resurrection scene since Harington confirmed that he would cut his hair shorter to hide the truth about his return from speculating fans.
Producers of the show went a step further by the time filming started, cutting even more hair off. As a result, what Melisandre actually cut away during her resurrection are hair extensions to to conceal Harington's new appearance, a man bun.
