The lead designer of "Battlefield 1"discussed different aspects of the upcoming video game like the vehicles, and weapons that are fun to use. The game developers persist that the game will not have a rocky launch unlike the launching of its predecessor in the past, which was "Battlefield 4."
EA DICE lead designer Daniel Berlin discussed in an interview with Venture Beat the different aspects that players will be expecting in the next "Battlefield" game that game developers have conjured up. One of the aspects that were discussed was the different vehicles and weapons they have implemented for the game. Weapons for melee combat were a definite focus for the developers, and they made sure the vehicles had the same feel as the ones from World War I.
Berlin also assured the fans that the game will not have a rocky launch on the release date. To ensure that, the game developers are pushing an open beta to test out the connectivity of the game servers to the players connecting to it. They revealed that they have learned a lot from the past, and they are confident that they will succeed with the new game title.
According to Polygon, the game will have bayonets and hand maces, gas attacks, sniper rifles, machine guns, and rifles. Players will also be able to take control of different metal monster vehicles during World War I like tanks, and biplanes. Players can also try out the dedicated vehicle classes like the tank captain and the pilot, and some vehicles can be used by two players.
Berlin explained that this era was always mistaken for an era of muskets, but it was a time where the military was always inventing weapons all the time. He promised that they will cater the experience of the World War I development of weapons and the variety of it in the game. The weapons will be powerful and have an authentic feel to it.
The locations of the battles that this game will include are the muddy fields, and the forests of Frances, the deserts of Arabia, and the Italian Alps. Tanks will have more screen time with open fields, and some maps will also include villages, and ruins of cities that have tons of buildings to destroy or fight in.
