The action in "Nanatsu no Taizai" intensifies as Meliodas is now surrounded by all members of the Ten Commandments. It will be interesting to see if he will be backed up by his squad whose powers are far lesser than their opponents.
Last chapter, Meliodas kept on unleashing lethal attacks on Gloxinia and Dolor and amazingly, they were able to withstand his blows. Meliodas' party also remarked that despite having two legendary demons as his enemies, their captain is not only holding them back, but is also winning against them.
Ban reflected on the real power of the captain, which agitated King as he has deep hatred for demons. For a while, Meliodas and the two commandments stopped fighting as the former Fairy King asked Meliodas why he turned his back on them as he could have easily stole the crown from the Demon King.
Meliodas responded with anyone who let their misery and pain eat them to the point of swearing allegiance to the demons are his enemies. As the captain prepares to deal the final blow, seven entities fell out of the sky and it was revealed that it was the other commandments ready to back up their endangered comrades.
Cornered, Meliodas finds himself on a tight pinch as he is now surrounded by Derrierie, Estarossa, Fraudrin, Gray Lord, Monspiet and Zeldris. With nowhere to run, it would be interesting to see if someone will come to the captain's aid or if he will get some heavy beat down from the other commandments in the next chapter.
Fans over at Manga Helpers believe that there will be a flashback on why Meliodas turned his back against the demons and some are positive that Zeldris, Estarossa and the captain are actually siblings due to their resemblance.
Also, another potential scenario in the next chapter is Ban, Diane, King, Escanor and Gowther asking Gilfrost to teleport them back to where Meliodas is to assist in the fight, Manga Shinsekai reported. Should that be the case, they will still be outnumbered and their only ray of hope is for daylight to come fast for Escanor to be at his full potential.
