The live audience at Song Joong-ki’s fan meet on Saturday at the Wuhan Lobby of the China Culture Expo Center was bigger than last week’s Beijing meet. At the event, the actor had the chance to speak the Wuhan dialect to the audience of 6,500.
It was the fourth stop for Song Joong-ki’s 2016 Asia Tour Fan Meeting, the first two being in Bangkok and Seoul, according to Blossom Entertainment, his talent agency. But it was the second of his eight-city China leg, the first being in the capital city of China.
Soompi reported that one of the questions the 30-year-old actor was asked if he was not an actor, what would be his work. Song Joong-ki replied he probably would have been Lee Kwang Soo’s manager. It just showed his deep friendship with his fellow actor, manifested further last week when the “Descendants of the Sun” actor made a cameo appearance in a Korean Hallyu, “Sound of Your Heart,” which stars Lee Kwang Soo.
Song Joong-ki actually just returned a favor done by Lee Kwang Soo who also had a cameo role in Episode 1 of the 16-episode “Descendants of the Sun.”
Next week, Song Joong-ki will hold two successive fans meets in China. On May 27, Friday, the event would be held at the Guangzhou International Sports Arena, while the next day, May 28, it would be held at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center.
In between the fan meets, Song Joong-ki will shoot “Battleship Island” as well as other commitments such as endorsements and magazine photoshoots and interviews.
