The latest details for "Justice League" movie will feature a more simpler script and DC villains Steppenwolf and Lex Luthor joining the film.
"Kingdom of Heaven" actor Jeremy Irons teased the script for "Justice League" movie will be much simpler and not too complicated compared to "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice". Irons was very vocal about the film's somewhat failed delivery in the box office as he told The Daily Mail that "Batman V Superman" has an overtly convulated pacing and agrees with the critiques unfavorable remarks about the film.
With that said it seems that Warner Bros. will changing the way they will handle the direction of the two-part "Justice League" films as Irons believed that the script will be smaller and more linear with no complications whatsoever, now that they have learned their mistakes in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice".
Irons will be reprising his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman's (Ben Affleck) trusted bustler/friend Alfred Pennyworth in part one of the "Justice League" movie.
In other news, two DC characters will be featured in "Justice League" movie as Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and Steppenwolf will make their presence known to the world's greatest heroes.
The "Now You See Me 2" star was in attendance at the MCM London Comic Con event and confirmed that he is locked on into the "Justice League" movie, but he stated that he is unsure what part he will play and has to "wait" to get a cracked at it. Eisenberg did not divulge any further details, but is confident about the productions plans and decisions as he supports them in doing the movie, Screenrant reported.
Aside from Lex Luthor, it seems that main villain for the "Justice League" movie will likely be Darkseid's uncle and trusted lieutenant Steppenwolf.
Steppenwolf was first hinted in the deleted scene of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" titled the "Communion" in which Lex Luthor is communicating with with a monstrous being from the Kryptonian archives room, were Doomsday is created before he is arrested by the United States military.
Luthor warns Batman about an unstoppable dark force heading to earth and with Superman (Henry Cavill) dead, nothing will stop them from taking the planet. Batman then acts on a contegency plan and asked Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) to join him and find other metahumans namely Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller), Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa) to fight this threat from space.
So far, Warner Bros. has not yet cast who will play Steppenwolf in "Justice League" movie.
"Justice League" movie part 1 is scheduled on Nov. 17, 2017, while part 2 is on June 14, 2019.
