In "Arrow" Season 4 finale, Queen battled and killed Darhk. Queen may have successfully accomplished his mission but he may not have succeeded in keeping his team together. John Diggle, Thea Queen, and Lance decide to give up the life of vigilante and abandon Team Arrow.

However, fans are hoping that "Arrow" Season 5 will see the reunion of the team. While it is too early to expect plot details, rumours and speculations are running rampant. According to Screenrant, the new season will see Oliver's struggle to strike a balance between his new role as a mayor and his duties as the Green Arrow. With only Felicity and Oliver on the team, the duo will have other challenges to deal with while working alone.

In the meantime, "Arrow" Season 5 is set to introduce a new villain. It is said that the remaining team Arrow will not be dealing with superpowers. In an interview with Variety at the CW Upfront in New York City, actor Stephen Amell who plays the role of Oliver Queen, confirmed new big bad for Season 5.

"I've heard that our big bad, our villain, is something that you can really only do once you're in the fifth, sixth or seventh season of a TV show," Amell said.

The actor refused to spill specific details. However, he did drop a big hint about the new villain. "As far as I know, they don't have superpowers. I'll tell you that," Amell said.

In addition, "Arrow" Season 5 will feature more flashbacks which will go back to the start of the series. "Maybe he'll lie in just complete juxtaposition to the Oliver that we see in season 5 in the present day, or maybe they'll start to line up together again, you never know. Things change!" he said.

Meanwhile, several media outlets are speculating that the new season brings new hopes for Olicity. According to Cartermatt, with just two of them on the team, there will be lots of opportunity for the two of them to work together as well as establish a bond and repair the damaged ties.

"Arrow" Season 5 is expected to premiere in fall 2016. Considering the previous seasons schedules, episode 1 is expected to go on air in the second week of October on The CW. However, the network is yet to announce the official airdate.
