Rumors abound that both Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister will fall in love with Arya Stark in the upcoming book "Winds of Winter." The love triangle will be interesting because the three of them have not been together since the first book "Game of Thrones."
In the first book, Tyrion visited Lord Ned Stark's family and he first laid his eyes on the latter's youngest daughter. She barely made an impression on Tyrion at that point as she was only nine years old at that time.
Also, Snow and Stark are shown to be half-siblings as the former was said to be the product of a liaison of Stark's father with his lady love. However, rumors abound that Snow is instead the son of Lord Stark's sister Lyanna and Rhaegar Targaryen.
The truth is yet to come out in the open but all pointers are pointing to the direction that Stark and Snow are not half-siblings in any way. Hence, their romantic relationship is not doomed due to genetic reasons.
The author of the book series George R. R. Martin wrote about this plot to the publishers in 1993, according to The Independent. Martin's letter also revealed that Snow and Stark will fall hopelessly in love with each other even though they are plagued by doubts about the future of the relationship. They will breathe a sigh of relief when Snow's true parentage is revealed.
Tyrion will also fall in love with Stark passionately as he sees her as a very focused individual with a sharp personality. He will vie for her attention alongwith Snow.
Meanwhile, the much-delayed book "Winds of Winter" has no confirmed release date as yet. Earlier in the year, Martin wrote on his blog page Not a Journal that he is disappointed that the book "Winds of Winter" is not releasing before "Game of Thrones" Season 6. He blamed numerous convention appearances and other public engagements for the delay in finishing the book.
