"Arrow" season 5 lead star Stephen Amell recently opened up about his character Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak's (Emily Bett Rickards) fates in the upcoming episodes.
In an interview with Comic Book, the actor hinted on the possibility of the on-again, off-again onscreen couple to finally reunite and eventually wed.
"I don't know. I know that it was important, especially at the end of season 4 with everything that happened and with Laurel Lance's death that their relationship got put on the back burner because I think that there were more pressing issues, obviously. So I don't know what's gonna happen in season 5. I do know that... I believe that they begin season 5 together. So we'll see where it goes from there," he said.
Meanwhile, Amell was also asked to share his thoughts on Felicity's decision to leave Oliver after she found out that he kept a huge information about himself from her.
"I felt like she was relatively quick to walk away, but she's a fictional character. She can do what she wants," he said.
In other news, Oliver's other big secrets will also be tackled in the upcoming episodes of "Arrow" season 5.
The actor also confirmed that they will be introducing a new villain in the hit The CW series.
While speaking with Variety, Amell said, "I've heard that our big bad, our villain, is something that you can really only do once you're in the fifth, sixth, seventh season of a TV show."
The actor added that he also knows a lot of details about the villain, but cannot reveal any of these at the moment.
"As far as I know, they don't have superpowers. I'll tell you that," he hinted.
Meanwhile, "Arrow" season 5 will have crossover episodes with "The Flash" season 3, "Supergirl" season 2 and "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 in its upcoming episodes.
Amell previously said that he wants to be able to work with "Supergirl" lead star Melissa Benoist because they haven't been on screen at the same time.
"Arrow" season 5 will premiere on The CW sometime in March 2017.
