In the particular thread of conversation of the said forum site, it was highlighted that after the battle of Saitama and Boros, a new character, named Metal Overlord, gathered information and materials coming from the alien technology and used it to his advantage.
Further in the thread, it was mentioned that the said photo surfacing online depicting a decimated earth-moon is actually a product of the battle between Saitama and Metal Overlord. With a one serious punch coming from Saitama, it was narrated that Metal Overlord remained stationary and simply brushed off the attack of the hero, while the moon endured extensive damage and massive whole. Thus, showing the strength and endurance of Saitama's new opponent.
Though the suggestion of Metal Overlord arc is really compelling given the details and photo, some anime fans are not convinced about the rumored upcoming arc. They suggested that such photo was part of an extra page coming from a graphic novel and nothing more. However, user YUIOP10 detailed that such supporting evidence, is actually authentic, and it is based on a future scene where Saitama battles Metal Overlord. And such claim was based on an interview of Yusuke Murata and One.
