The latest details for "Transformers: The Last Knight" will feature new plot details and characters for the sequel, as well as Anthony Hopkins role in th e film.
It seems that the plot details for the fifth "Transformers" movie, "Transformers: The Last Knight" has been leaked online as the story will involve Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots in uncovering another truth behind the origin of the Transformer race on earth.
According to JoBlo, "Transfortmers: The Last Knight" will feature Optimus Prime's journey to his homeworld Cybertron, which is now a dead and abandoned planet due to the Autobot and Decepticon civil war. It soon discovered that Optimus Prime is partially blamed for the destruction of his homeworld and seeks to find an artifact that will restore the planet back to life once again as penance for his actions, and it is found on somewhere on earth.
The artifact that Optimus is seeking has ties with the medieval wizard Merlin and that the origin of magic came from a Transformer, since several of them were scattered throughout the entire world from its prehistoric times to the golden age of civilization.
It is unknown yet what the artifact will look like, but it is theorized that the item would likely be Excalibur, King Arthur's legendary sword which is befitting the sequel's title "The Last Knight".
The plot details will also feature returning characters such as Cade Yaeger (Mark Wahlberg) and Lt. Col William Lennox (Josh Duhamel) as well as Autobot members Bumblebee, Drift, Crosshairs, Hound and the Dinobots from "Age of Extinction" film. It is also revealed that Megatron/Galvatron and Barricade of the Decepticons will be returning to wreak havoc again on earth.
There are also new characters joining the "Transformer: The Last Knight" and these are Cogman and Squeakes. Cogman alternate mode is a Astin Martin, while Squeakes transforms into a Vespa.
The plot details also revealed the possible role of "Hannibal" movie star Anthony Hopkins as he will play a character called "The Creator". In the sequel, it is said that the Creator has ties with the Transformer race in Cybertron possibly one that the Cybertronian bounty hunter Lockdown is referring to by the end of "Age of Extinction" movie, Cinemablend reported.
Transfomers fans and movie goers will eager to know more about "Transformers 5" and even a teaser trailer for the movie soon.
"Transformers: The Last Knight" is scheduled to be release in cinemas on June 23, 2017.
