The cause that evoked the Michael Wainstein and Jules Wainstein divorce is not quite clear with allegations emerging that Jules caught her husband cheating on her. Her claims are denied by Michael's Attorney.
E! News pointed out that Mark Jay Heller, Michael's lawyer, stated that adultery is not involved in this case. He also mentioned that the suit was filed by Michael on May 13.
"She has not answered the papers. If she had any basis for counterclaim against him, she would have done so," Heller said as a proof of his argument to defend Michael Wainstein. According to him, if the allegations were true, she would have mentioned them in her response statement. Points are wrongly presented to the media.
While the attorney has dismissed the claim of cheating as the cause of Michael Wainstein's divorce, he cited a different reason - physical abuse. According to Heller, the "Real Housewives of New York" star, Jules Wainstein, was prone to brutally abuse her estranged husband over years. The eight years long marriage has fallen apart as a result.
"But for the fact that he has two beautiful children, he would have left her a long time ago, but he has been trying to hold the family together," Daily Mail mentioned him saying. Michael and Jules were uncanny as a couple as Jules is one head taller than her husband. She was also seen going out for a charity event following the divorce filing on Wednesday. She looked chic and quite happy without any line of stress on her face.
Jules' camp has totally denied the claim of abuse. They mentioned that she is staying strong for her children. She mentioned her children to be her priority and also said that she is strong and practical too.
Interestingly, the soon-to-be separated couple is still staying together in their family residence with their son, Jagger, and daughter, Rio. On Thursday morning, Jules called up police to inform that Michael is talking to her in a threatening manner.
Michael's divorce attorney has agreed that the home life is not going well for the ex-couple. However, he confirmed that one will have to move out once the case moves to court and they are given a date.
