According to Marvel's movie line up this year, the next film that is going to happen in the later part of 2016 is "Doctor Strange," and reports suggests that "Doctor Strange" would not be like any other typical Marvel movies.
According to Ecumenical News, during the launch of the movie's sneak peek, fans already noticed that "Doctor Strange" has a different flow compared to other Marvel movies, which are typically action packed and full of heroes and super villains. "Doctor Strange" is more of a low key Marvel film that is somewhat full of mysteries. It is said that once the film finally premiere's, fans should prepare for "one hell of a strange ride."
The character Doctor Strange was created by Stan Lee alongside with Steve Ditko back in 1963, just a year after Lee created Spider-Man's character. Doctor Strange's story revolves around a neurosurgeon who's brilliant on his field but was a bit conceited. All the wealth and success went through his head and he started to forget his real priority as a doctor, and turned away patients who do not have the money to pay him.
Little did he know that he was about to face the biggest nightmare of his life when he met a car accident, which left the nerves in his hands permanently damaged, thus, ending his career as a surgeon. That's where the strange things started happening when the doctor was so desperate to find a cure for his disability, but along his travel, he didn't find a cure for it, instead he found something else which turned him to be one of the best sorcerer there is.
On other news Yahoo! Movies got a chance to interview Mads Mikkelsen, which plays the role of the still unnamed villain in the upcoming "Doctor Strange" film and is also known for his character in the "Hannibal" series. He dished out some details on what fans should expect from the film. According to Gamespot, during the interview, Mikkelsen said that "Doctor Strange's" story flow would be somewhat different than the one seen on comic books like most of Marvel films. He stated that they added a different flavor which would surely catch fan's attention. Mikkelsen said "But you still have it there--you have all the action, all the good ingredients you get in a Marvel film, but it will have a different flavour, that's for sure."
Marvel's Doctor Strange is set to hit the big screens on Nov. 4, 2016.
