Bethesda just rolled out the new Fallout 4 1.5.4 update for the PC version with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One patch coming later.
The new update features new bug fixes and improvements specifically for the mods which users love to install and play around with on Fallout 4. Bethesda has also included several changes for the new Fallout 4 Contraptions DLC.
Users will now be able to unrack their weapons and armor without losing the Legendary status on their mods. Fallout 4 Contraptions DLC players have been frustrated as they would lose the status whenever they remove their items from the racks.
Another improvement for the Fallout 4 mods is that there is now more space for the "mod details" page, GameSpot has learned. More text will be displayed for those who like to read what a mod is all about first or if the developers want to include the instructions on the front page.
There are still some minor bugs that Bethesda has mentioned such as the future expansions bug that shows the Nuka-World and Vault-Tec Workshop DLC for Steam users as available even if they are not yet released. The developer said that they are already collaborating with Valve in order to provide a small patch for the bug as it currently affects only the PC users.
Another improvement from the Fallout 4 1.5.4 update is the addition of more filters for the "Most Popular" tab, iTech Post reported. Players will be able to choose among All Time, Weekly and Daily.
Bethesda announced the three new Fallout 4 DLCs during their E3 2016 conference. The Contraptions DLC will be followed by the Vault-Tec Workshop in July and the Nuka-World in August which would add more content for the players after the Far Harbor and Automatron DLC.
Fallout 4 1.5.4 update is also required for those who want to sign up for the PS4 closed beta for mods. Bethesda has not announced when the new update with the Contraptions DLC fix will be coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 but they could still be busy fixing the mods problems specifically with the PS4.
