Battlefield 1 data mining leak reveals all maps, weapons, story campaign, game modes and more

Battlefield 1 is still several weeks away from launch but the recent data mine has revealed almost everything there is to know about the upcoming game from DICE and EA.

Reddit user Lobix300 has showed the world of the labor of his or her data mining of the Battlefield 1 closed alpha files and nearly gun, weapon, map and more were unveiled. EA and DICE have already answered several questions about the game through interviews but it turns out that there are a whole lot stuff that were waiting to be shown.

Now, anyone can see what Battlefield 1 has to offer in terms of the different weapons, game modes and more. The game is set on the era of World War 1 with zeppelins, tanks, war ships and bayonets.

Battlefield 1 is now confirmed to have seven episodes in total and 20 chapters for the story campaign as what has been revealed in the data mining, GameRant has learned. The prologue would be considered the first chapter with six others for a total of seven episodes.

DICE has designed over 30 weapons from the First World War and they will be available throughout the campaign and the different multiplayer maps and game modes. There are also some of the melee weapons that the interviews have mentioned.

There are still some chapters with no names that were not revealed in the Battlefield 1 data mining leak, Lazygamer reported. The chapters of the Episode 4: Avanti Savoia and Episode 5: The Runner does not have any names.

Some of the weapons listed in the data mining list include the British Bulldog, Winchester M1895, Luger Rifle, Kolibri, Colt 1911, Smith & Wesson Model 3, Rodeo 1889, Baretta M1915 and more. The eight game modes for the multiplayer feature are also listed: Behemoth, Air Superiorty, Possession, Domination, Breakthrough, Team Deatmatch, Conquest and Rush.

At launch, Battlefield 1 will have 10 maps for multiplayer modes. Of course, the list would be added as there will be expansion packs, DLCs and updates throughout the life cycle of the game.

Battlefield 1 will be released on October 21. It will be available for the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC.
