Alas, Yhwach was able to steal Ichigo's power as the latter is now lying unconscious, while the former opened a portal that leads to a new world. Meanwhile, the manga is confirmed to end in its 74th volume.
In the previous chapter, Ichigo was defeated by the Yhwach and absorbed all of his Shinigami and Quincy powers. Not only that, the Sternritter Lord also took back the power he lent to the other Sternritter, causing their demise. Hence, fans over at Manga Helpers believe this will all lead to the Shinigamis and the remaining Quincies to unite once and for all.
Also, the possibility of Jugram switching sides were discussed as Yhwach did not even care about his soldier's well-being and worse, killing them. With the help of Bazz-B, the right-hand man of Yhwach will cooperate and reveal some crucial information on Yhwach's power.
With Ichigo knocked out cold, Inoue will treat him and by the time the former wakes up, he will be traumatized due to the events that just transpired. This is where Isshin comes in and gives him a pep talk, causing Ichigo to regain his confidence.
The most interesting theory that fans have been throwing around is the possibility of Aizen finally breaking free from the chair that seals his Reiatsu. Instead of getting his revenge, he realizes the situation and offers his help to Ichigo. Although this is against his will, it will be better than him perishing with the Soul Society.
Meanwhile, some fans believe that only a few people will enter the portal that Yhwach created as his overwhelming power will only lead to more casualties. The team expected to battle the Almighty villain includes Ichigo, Inoue, Isshin, Ryuken, Aizen, Jugram, Uryuu, Rukia and Renji.
In other news, it has been confirmed that the manga will end in its 74th volume, Morning News USA reported. The news was announced in the 31st issue of Shonen Jump and with the way things are going in the manga, a new arc is not expected to be introduced. Here is a video review of the previous chapter.
