The action in "Fairy Tail" intensifies as Mirajane is now up against the powerful enchantress, Irene. Also, fans are wondering when Gildarts will make his return.
In the previous chapter, Irene was surprised that Mirajane was actually able to defeat her subordinates. Hence, fans over at Reddit believe someone will intervene in their fight as the latter will no longer be able to keep up with the strongest female mage of the Spriggan 12. Fans suggest that the likeliest character to come to her aid is her brother, Elfman, whose whereabouts are yet to be revealed after Irene used her unknown magic.
Also, Irene will ask Mirajane about Erza, as the former's attention was caught by her scarlet hair. This scene led fans to believe that Irene is actually Erza's elder sister. This would make Titania originally a resident of the Alvarez Empire. This would also explain why both mages have extreme magic potency as their mother is probably a powerful figure from the past.
Meanwhile, Fairy Tail members are on their way back to the guild to help Mavis against Zeref. With Natsu and other powerful mages of the guild occupied at the moment, fans over at Manga Mint believe it is time for Gildarts to make his much-awaited return and turn the tides to their favor. Moreover, Gildarts still have a score to settle against Acnologia, who is one of the key players in the ongoing war.
As a quick refresher on the previous chapter, Mirajane took it upon herself to take on Irene's two lackeys, Sun and Luna. It was an even match until Mirajane revealed her ultimate transformation, which was more than enough to defeat the two ladies. As Mirajane ran out of power, she was hoping that both her opponents no longer have the strength to stand up.
She was surprised that both of them were only incantations and are only swords. Just when she thought she could breathe a sigh of relief, Irene appeared out of nowhere, intrigued that there is actually someone with such powerful magic in Fiore. Here is a video review of the previous chapter.
