The Miami Heat have already let Dwyane Wade walk, the farewells have been written.
However, the dotted line has yet to be signed and the formal introduction has yet to be made on the Windy City.
For something that the city has attempted for the last five years, the excitement over finally bringing the Illinois hometown boy home did not seem to resound with the Chicago Bulls organization.
In contrast, Rajon Rondo, the other big Chicago Bulls signing, has already been introduced as the latest addition, as chronicled by The Daily Herald.
"New Bulls guard Rajon Rondo was introduced Thursday at the Advocate Center," Mike McGraw reported. "He was the same person NBA fans have gotten to know over the years -- calm, intelligent and not afraid of a little controversy."
Rondo was also aware that his former bitter rival, Dwyane Wade would possibly join him at the team.
"New Bulls guard Rajon Rondo acknowledged he spoke or texted with newest Bulls guard Dwyane Wade before and after the former Miami Heat star committed to the Bulls on Wednesday evening," the report continued.
With Rondo privy to the process of Wade's decision, it seemed odd that they were not introduced together. What seemed more odd was the fact that Wade has yet to sign his contract with the Bulls.
Dwyane Wade scheduled to take his physical with the Bulls on Monday. Plan, as of now, is for Bulls to formally welcome him on July 29.

According to Hoops Habit, the Miami Heat fans are mounting a campaign to be bring back Wade. Thus, they had #BringBackWade trending on Twitter. Allana Tachauer narrated the Heat fans experience. "When it was first revealed that the 34-year-old had chosen to sign with the Bulls, taking him back to his hometown, everyone was stunned. And for a few days, their worlds stopped. All they could do was process the reality that Wade was leaving, and mourn the fact thereafter," Tachauer said. "But then, a fire was ignited. Fans would not let the guard go without a fight. And just like that, #BringBackWade was started."

It's a thin ray of hope, but because of the DeAndre Jordan incident last summer where the Clippers center committed to the Dallas Mavericks but changed his mind prior to the signing period and eventually re-upped with the Clips, the Heat fans feel that they have something to hold on to.
