Pokemon GO cheats, tips and tricks are rife as the game has taken the world by storm.
Pokemon GO is a different smartphone gaming app as it is the first augmented reality game. This means that the real world is integrated in the game. Moreover, gamers need to walk in real life like real Pokemon trainers enjoying the advanture and journey of catching Pokemons. Players are looking for various ways to advance in the game without having to physically move.
However, Pokemon GO cheats have resulted to bans of some gamers. According to reports, the ban is due to gamers flocking in New York City where there is more Pokemon to catch. Moreover, there are rumors that legendary Pokemon Mewtwo can be caught in NYC.
Below are the three things that you can do if you get banned in Pokemon GO.
Wait for soft ban to pass
One player said that Niantic Labs implement soft ban wherein players were no longer able to catch Pokémon, collect items from PokéStops and couldn't battle or claim a gym. When trying to throw a PokéBall at a Pokémon in the game, players discovered the opposing Pokémon would just run away instead for a couple of hours.
Delete app and re-download
Another solution to work around the ban is to delete the app and to re-download it. However, some players find themselves restarting the game.
Use another device
Some gamers warned that to teach lazy cheaters a lesson, Niantic Labs is reportedly banning the devices of gamers that tricked their locations. A Reddit user warned, "Not that anyone will read this, but as an ingress vet, I'll throw my two cents in: please don't spoof, or download the APK or register a fake apple ID to get it early for your region," they wrote. "Niantic used to ban people for drift hacking, and it would be a shame to find many new trainers suddenly being banned. The process to get unbanned is long and arduous, and it's not worth it."
